We've made a commitment to the educational community to help our youth take charge of their
finances. Our Hubert O. Sibley Four-Year Florida Prepaid University Tuition Scholarship
began in 1995. Since then, South Florida
Educational Federal Credit Union has helped hundreds of students attend college. We award 15 four-year scholarships
annually to graduating high school seniors.
Members of South Florida Educational Federal Credit Union who are also students at Miami Dade College (MDC), are eligible to win our MDC Tuition Reimbursement Scholarship
. This scholarship is awarded at the end of each semester.
To further benefit young people, we have expanded our services to
include MDC International students. We acknowledge the sacrifice involved in furthering your education and want to
assist you with all of your financial needs. The following forms of identifications will be accepted for membership:
"Got Green?" Financial Literacy Program*

- Current US Government issued VISA
- Current Florida Driver License (or other US state issued DL)
- Current Florida issued Identification Card
"Got Green?" is a free service available to all Miami-Dade County Public Schools and Miami Dade College students. Speakers are available to conduct workshops on a variety of financial topics. Topics include:
- Money Management
- Building and Maintaining Good Credit
- The True Cost of a College Education
- Trends in Identity Theft
- Resumé Writing & Interviewing Skills
